Hi All,
After spending six months developing my first Corona-powered game, Danger Moose Dash, I’ve now radically changed my business plan and since early November last year I’ve launched five games, which equates to about nine weeks work in my spare time for all five:
Santa’s Reindeer Rush: Google / iTunes
Crash Bang Christmas: Google / iTunes
Tennis Menace: Google / iTunes
Crash Bang Cricket: Google / iTunes
Football Frenzy: Google / iTunes
All are on Google Play, Apple App Store and Amazon. Installs are still fairly low for each of them and the combined ad revenues are just a few GBP each day, but I haven’t done any heavy marketing yet or been able to get the Facebook functionality working. Less than 1,000 installs for most games per platform so far, with Santa’s Reindeer Rush performing the best, at 3,327 installs across all three stores.
As you can see, some of the games have similar gameplay, but i think they’re different enough to be games in their own right.
I’m launching one more game in a few weeks’ time and then will focus on some heavy promo for a while. I’ll be using PR Mac and some free newswires, as well as working on keyword optimisation, but if anybody has any other tips for promo I’d love to hear them.
All the best,
Andy
