Erasing the plugins folder contents on windows xp seems to have sorted this for me so far; build 1161. Many thanks.
…no, I spoke too soon, I’ve just received the “download plugin” prompt again. I’m using the ads plugin, build 1161, windows xp 32-bit.
It’s normal to get the prompt the first time you run the Simulator after wiping the Plugins folder. A second time after that isn’t.
If the problem persists, please submit a bug report and attach your code so I can take a closer look.
@albert90 - I just went to download 1162, but it’s not there yet. I’ll check again tomorrow and download once available.
All the best,
Andy
Hi, I’ve tried 1157 and the Welcome Screen is back and alive again!
Thx!
I use 1159 and the annoying Download Plugins popup appears again every time
@whammy: I can’t reproduce the problem with 1159.
Please erase the content of your Plugins folder and report back if the problem persist.
On Mac, I’m referring to this folder:
“/Users/my_user_name/Library/Application Support/Corona/Simulator/Plugins”
On Windows, it might be this folder, depending on the version of Windows you’re using:
“C:\Documents and Settings\my_user_name\Application Data\Corona Labs\Corona Simulator\Plugins”
Thank you.
