Hi,
I wrote a game which is much the same as Flappy Bird few days ago. The attachments are game screenshots. I would like to exchange the game code for another game code. Anyone want to exchange code can send me message. Thanks

You can download the APK file here: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1eTIs2
I think it is better to use transition to move instead of using physics engine. I’ll fix it later.
Were you able to publish to the app store? I read that Apple and Google were cracking down on clones.
I just got a flappy bird clone accepted with the word flappy in the title and keywords, so I don’t know what their policy is. Maybe I just got lucky.
Much to my annoyance ( ) you did get lucky!
My clone has just been accepted but I had to remove the “Flappy” word from the title.
Looking at the new releases section I can see many clones without the word “Flappy”. No doubt some/many of those developers originally got rejected for using the forbidden word!
Looking at the sheer number of clones I have no doubt that it’s too late to expect much in the way of revenue. I certinaly left Vungle out of this app!
Best of luck with it rmbsoft.

Apple will reject those clone Flappy Bird games recently, so I didn’t publish it to the app store. You can publish to Google Play
You can publish to the app store or google play without using keyword “Flappy”.
Any of you guys doing clones copy the original “rate me” scheme?
I have a rate button and options to post high scores to twitter and facebook.

If you haven’t already started to clone the game and you’re in it (or going to be in it) for the money - don’t bother. It’s already too late as I and others are now finding out.

Just my 2p worth. iOS is saturated with them already.
Best wishes!

If you want to make money, you’ll have to make yours stand out. Add some kind of new twist or variation, not just different graphics. Add power ups that let you sail through pipes, slow down to more easily navigate, etc.
The polished clones are already appearing with the extra whistles and bells. IMHO it’s also too late to release a polished version with the extras - but I may be completely wrong of course.
IMHO the public will quickly tire of Flappy and its derivatives (albeit that many now have added features and are much improved).
Still, you make very valid points davemikesell and perhaps I’m being a bit jaded. My Flappy clone was my first (arcade) game app (I have 40+ apps that are word/trivia) and I think I expected too much!
Hopefully yours (davemikesell) will be the one that shines. I wish you well.

I have no intention of creating a Flappy Clone. I’m too busy trying to fix my own game.
And I agree with you, it will run its course.
