Hi
Just playing with Charles tcp debugger and spotted an interesting detail;
Flurry implementation coming with coronasdk sends a device string as follows;
device.model.1 iOS4Device1.14âïÒÔBtr_TREurope/Istanbul
But, official flurry sdk (xcode) sends a device identification string for the same device;
device.model.1iPod4,12.54â+ße&ìtr_TREurope/Istanbul iPod Touch 4G iPod Touch 4GM
As you see; there are some missing information in corona implementation. All devices running ios 4 listed as ?OS4Device. There is no way to know which one is an ipod touch, or iphone, or even an iphone 3gs running ios4…
My flurry panel list some devices as “Apple iPhone 3GS” and some other devices as “Apple iOS4Device”… This is confusing; does “Apple iPhone 3GS” mean an iphone 3gs which does not run ios 4??
Is this an intented implementation, or am I missing something?
