We noticed an issue with the implementation of the updated flurry plugin ( Solar2D Documentation — Plugins | Flurry Analytics (coronalabs.com)), not the legacy, in the android builds. After apk installation, running the app we get the error message:
*Corona: Developer Error “App Name” does not target the Google play store but includes Google Play services. *
This is addling unnecessary bloat to your app as Google Play services depends on play store. Please remove Google play services from builds that do not target Google play
We tried both the android debug key and also a custom one. Same issue.
Followed all guidance written in documentation.
Note that with flurry legacy ( Solar2D Documentation — Plugins | flurry (coronalabs.com)) there is no issue.
