Font Family Issue

Greetings,

so far I’ve checked google and searched forums, cant seem to find the right way to solve this. I have simple Noto Sans font (consists of Regular , Bold, Italic) installed in my Mac. 

Using native getNames method, I only get to see “NotoSans” , nothing Bold nor Italic. When I use “NotoSans” it works, but its actually Regular. I tried ignoring whether or not the getNames has shown the Bold, I just typed “NotoSansBold” or “NotoSans Bold” or anything else to do with Bold, but nothing is working.

Is there a concrete solution to this yet?

did you put the .ttf file for the bold font in the root folder?

OH! I didnt know it was crucial to put it in the project directory. Thanks for the clarification!
