Fonts are squished

I’m using Baskerville font on the iPad, and what I’m seeing on screen in the simulator is quite different from what I see in the Xcode simulator and the iPad.

The font in the simulator is taller than what I see in other apps, including Microsoft Word, the XCode simulator, and the iPad itself.
