Will definitely check it out.

Noticed that you did your own keyboard in the app. Was there a reason for that? I am working on planning my next game and it will involve users typing in answers and wondered whether using the device’s native keyboard was the “right” way to go, or if creating my own keyboard had advantages.

I didn’t really want the look of the native keyboard to spoil the continuity of the design and needed control over how much screen space it took on the various devices.

Well i got 2 right on level 1 and don’t know anymore and am from the UK!

Whats the rules on using football logos etc… in your apps ?

I know the FA (or who ever controls it) really clamp down on websites using logos without permission.

Yeah can be a pain.

EDIT: Forgot, little bug -

If you fill in a team but get it wrong, then go back into that question, the team is filled in with your previous answer but there is no X to delete the word. You have to use backspace.

A few notes for you, and yes, I used to do QA, so don’t hate me. :slight_smile:

(And I am typing on my phone and the Gmail app browser doesn’t like the Corona forums code or vice cersa, so sorry for typos or things.)

  1. Facebook should be capitalized. Pretty sure that was in accordance with their guidelines.
  2. Facebook and Game Center both allow you to login/post to your own account, but Twitter just opens the company feed, not let you post to your own Twitter acct. The user experience is off there. 
  3. Tapping the back button didn’t always work after using the keyboard. Needed to click a few times.  Seemed to work other times just fine. Maybe it is not keyboard related, but if not, maybe the touchable area needs to be adjusted?
  4. The problem with the delete button seems to be only when you go to a new logo and don’t type anything in as your guess. The delete button isn’t there, then isn’t there for other ones unless you type a letter.
  5. You can keep typing in the text field until the letters extend outside the field. Although I could have sworn that the first field I typed in had a short max character setting because I type like 6 characters then every other letter I pressed added nothing. If you type enough letters to get the field cursor over the delete button, you can’t click the delete button. Maybe having a max character setting for the field would be a good idea. 
  6. I like the keyboard, but it was a little odd to me that the keyboard was capital letters, but then lowercase letters are what was typed in. 
  7. On the Options screen, you can click the Store image and it makes the click sound, but nothing happens. Just a little user experience disconnect.

The keyboard is very cool. Will have to check it out in my iPad later. Wish the source code was available for that.  :)  Now if I do my own, I feel pressure. :slight_smile:

This app just overtook Songpop as the Number 1 free trivia app :slight_smile:

Just submitted an update which will hopefully solve the interface issues brought up in some particularly harsh reviews!
