Please make getting a proper forum software high on your priority list. The current forum software is tedious to use and is missing so many features that nearly all boards have.

Hell, you dont even have to pay for one if the wallet is shut, mybb or phpbb3 would be a millon times better and they are free.

Sorry if i come across as a jerk, it’s not my intention. Im just so tired of not been able to do trivial things such as send a private message.

More people will post if you install a proper forum software. Some days i see help threads from users that i could easilly answer but due to the grudgery of using this tedious forum software, often i leave the topic unanswered, when i could easilly have helped, if it wasn’t so painstaking to use. Not only that it is as slow as hell.

I know Ansca is considering new forum software but I don’t know how high a priority it is for them. As I recall, the reason they rejected most other options was because it wasn’t doing Lua syntax highlighting, and I gotta say I’d prefer features like clicking on user profiles over Lua syntax highlighting.

As long as there is a code tag to visually separate code from other text in the post then I don’t care too much about syntax highlighting. Let’s be frank, if someone is posting so much code that syntax highlighting is necessary, then you really ought to be just posting source files for people to download. The current forum software is a POS

We are migrating to Zendesk… it was paused do to bubble ball - we didn’t want to migrate when the entire world was looking down at us… we are also updating our servers again so it will be a combo of a bunch of stuff…

Zendesk ? Really ?

If the forums are anything like the ones on the Zendesk site, it actually looks even more un-user friendly…
