Forum bug: Can't edit first post in new topic

This is an old bug, but I want to post it again. After posting the first post for a new topic (like this one), if I click on the Edit button afterwards and make changes to the text or title, I can’t save it because there’s an error. This seems to have to do with the pull-down menu… It only gives a couple of options, General and Corona SDK, and neither of those are “legal” choices. So I can’t make an edit.

Maybe someone with higher level access (sysop) doesn’t see that problem, but us lowly subscribers do. Can you fix this so we can fix typos, etc., in our first post? [import]uid: 9905 topic_id: 6186 reply_id: 306186[/import]

By the way, the error you get if you try to edit is: “The item Corona SDK is only a container for forums. Please select one of the forums below it.”

But since there are no forums below it showing on the pull-down, this makes it impossible to edit. [import]uid: 9905 topic_id: 6186 reply_id: 21231[/import]

This one’s been around for ages, and is a bit annoying.

There’s no option to select the forum you posted your original message to, so it rejects any edits or deletions.

Drupal is a pretty well-regarded CMS, but there seem to be a few issues with the configuration here. [import]uid: 3953 topic_id: 6186 reply_id: 21846[/import]

Yep, Mark, I think I’ve seen complaints on this before. Figure I’d mention it again to relieve my frustration. [import]uid: 9905 topic_id: 6186 reply_id: 21856[/import]
