Forum Post - insert image

For some reason, unlike any word processor I have used before, on the forum, when I am trying to post a message with some images, I can not find ‘insert’ or ‘attachment’ as an option on the tool bar.  Normally, if I want to attach or insert into the document an image, I can do so fairly easy.   I see ‘image’ and ‘myMedia’ as possible options, but neither opens a drop-down directory tree for me to grab the images I want to insert.

Can anyone tell me, how I can insert a few images into a forum post?

The forum software isn’t a word processor, or a markup system.  It’s a simple text input box. 

The best thing to do is upload your image to a web server somewhere and use the little photo icon in the tool bar, enter the URL for the image.
