Hopefully just a glitch as it was really handy searching the forum. I have had to resort to using google which fortunately brings up results on the forum posts [import]uid: 7863 topic_id: 2577 reply_id: 7364[/import]
I’m pretty sure they’ll bring the search feature back, probably just overlooked it when switching to the new theme (which looks awesome, by the way).
In the meantime, you can go to google and type this in:

We realized search missing the moment the new redesigned went live, and we all went “Oh Oh”, followed by a series of profanities.
We are working hard to get this fixed asap.
In the meantime, Jon’s tip on using google is a stopgap.
