I was searching forum for new posts and there are few pages of spam posts form few accounts. Can it be handled somehow?

I have asked and emailed the same, and got response to hit the “Report Spam” button on each listing, which I am not about to do as there are a ton of them and they keep coming in. Captcha anyone?

I would like to offer myself to be a forum moderator if they need one.  It was really bad the last several hours, but looks like some posts still remain.  I don’t think people would mind imposing CAPTCHA on users that have under 25 posts.

Hi all,

Thanks for your suggestions, we’re monitoring the recent barrage of spam and considering reasonable ways to prevent at least some of it. Forum spam was pretty well nonexistent for a long time, but this past week or so has been brutal. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The best thing to do is to hit the report button.   You don’t have to report them all if they are coming from one account.  Once we flag a spammer, it takes down all their posts at once.
