Free Admob, Chartboost, or Adcolony plugin?

So currently I am using Appodeal and I found out that appodeal can be strange.

The appodeal plugin slows down my app and doesnt seem very reliable.

I see on the guides that you have to get the Corona Professional Bundle or buy the plugins from the store to use admob, chartboost, or adcolony. However, those are very expensive.

Is there any free plugin for those ad providers made by third party developers. I am not trying to find any loopholes. I just need to find a good ad provider. I see Revmob is another free option, but I don’t know if it is any good.

If there is no free plugin for admob, chartboost, or adcolony; should I switch to revmob or stick to Appodeal.

As far as I know, Corona does not allow third party ad network plugins. I don’t know if it’s possible to develop your own ad network plugin with the new native functions and use them even it’s not possible to publish them on the marketplace.

I think I will try revmob if there is no plugin for the three. I expected that there would be atleast something on github

Now that we’ve made our native extensions free, we have removed the restriction on building your own ad plugins. However, your time is valuable and we think it’s best if you spend your time working on your app and not on things that we’ve already built. We offer over 15 totally free plugins, two that have a use for free, but we have a revenue share and we have five pay up front plugins for you to choose from which includes AppLovin which is available as a revenue share and a paid plugin. You can use it in revenue share mode until you earn enough to where the paid model makes more sense and just switch.

When you factor in how much time it takes to learn native coding, build, test and maintain your own ad plugin potentially across both iOS and Android, and you put a price on that time, even our paid plugins are a really good deal.

As for Appodeal, we are working on updating to their 2.0 SDK. I don’t know what feature set that includes but it could address some of the issues.

I tried revmob and the banner doesnt even show up. I think I have to stick with appodeal since it has videos and banner ads. When will you release the updated appodeal sdk.

We don’t like to give out dates, but its days/weeks, not months.
