Free tile engine for latest version of Corona?

I’m currently trying to import a tile map made in Tiled.

First I have downloaded Lime engine, followed the instructions on their webpage, and I just got a bunch of errors.

Then I saw some threads here on the forums, saying that lime doesn’t work with the latest version of Corona.

So…if Lime is outdated, is there any other free to use tile engine that does work with the latest version of Corona?

Or is there another good way to make maps for a fast paced sidescroller?

Not necessarily by using tiles.

Check out MTEand Dusk. MTE isn’t free, but is worth the money. Dusk I believe is free during beta, but I’m sure Caleb will be charging something in the future.

Yes, I know about MTE. Might be just what I need, but I’m not sure yet.

I’ll first try Dusk, since it’s free.

I’m not yet buying anything, cause right now I just need a simple map to try out collisions with ground and walls etc. To get a vision of how the level design is gonna look like.

Thanks for now.

If you’re familiar with GIMP you can try using the plugin from the Resource directory:

Actually yes. GIMP is my primary image editing software.

I’m making all the graphics for my game in Inkscape, then edit them in GIMP.

I’ll try this out. Thanks for info.
