I just purchased a laptop that has the following specs and was wondering if anyone else encountered an issue where the simulator wouldn’t run properly. It is freezing on all the screens. Example let’s say my app has a splash page, when I go and refresh the simulator to pull my app up, it’ll freeze with the splash screen half loaded. However if I drag the simulator window around it will continue to run as if normal. Clearly this is not how it’s suppose to be, where I need to constantly move the screen in order to see my app run, I’m not going to be able to test anything.
I have a Lenovo U430P laptop, it runs on Windows 8
The system has 4GB RAM
Intel Core Processor i3-4010U CPU @ 1.70GHz
Display Adapter is Intel HD Graphics Family
I have plenty of Hard drive space
and I am not running anything else that is computer intensive in the background.
I have never had this issue come up before with my other laptops, and am wondering if this will make this laptop unusable with Corona.
Or am I missing something?
I am on build 2393 Corona
