Will users have to register with you?

@marble68; currently all users must have a Game Minion user account. This can be done transparently or user visible.
Our plan to provide various ways to do this such as a unique identifier.
We are rolling out external API for you to export all data, this is on our development servers only at the moment, but should be pushed into production down the line.

My other question, then, would be what happens if you guys were to go out of business? Is the code for your back end in escrow and would it go open source if you went under or hit the lottery (I find that oh so much more positive than getting hit by a bus!)?

Ensuring my customers have a great experience is paramount.

One thing I can assure you is that Game Minion is more than just a few individuals, we are part of a team is fully dedicated to releasing the best back-end service for indie games, and not dependent on any single person.
