Game sound effects

Hello!

In the ghosts-vs-monsters sample app, the ghost has a ‘Whee’ sound effect when thrown. I’ve looked and looked, but I cannot find sites that have game character sounds for ‘Whee’ or anything remotely similar. Where do you find your game sounds at? Are there any websites that offer the ‘Whee’ character sound?

I believe the dev who did the sample app recorded his own sound effects. Try using Audacity. I think he may of even used it too.

You would record it.
Change pitch.
Possibly even playback speed.

Best to just play with Audacity. There are so many things it will do for you to get the sounds just right.

Oh, and it is opensource free, in case that matters to you.
