gameNetwork random crash

I am posting this to see if it perhaps is just me experiencing this problem.

I updated my build earlier in the month to 574 to eliminate the gamecenter popup from openfeint. This is when I noticed the new gameNetwork api. I decided since it was only a handful of lines to change in the code I would update to it.

Testing on my iPhone 4 everything was great and I moved forward. However I have since put my app on my iPod 2nd Gen to test my saving/loading game-state code with a device that doesnt support true multitasking. This is when I noticed a problem.

My iPod 2nd gen will randomly crash/close my app when using openfeint. The openfeint interface will slide up, the activity indicator will spin and spin, then the app crashes/closes after 5 or so seconds. I can not get this to happen on my iPhone 4 or iPad.

I found this problem last night and was going to update to the lastest available build today, however we are now less than 24 hours from the next big update, so I may just hold out.

Has anyone else experienced this bug or similiar on any of their iOS devices?
