Generating music visualizations

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea of a simple way to automatically generate music visualizations based on the beats of a song in Corona SDK?

I’ve looked online for beat detection and music visualizations, but the math is way over my head.

I believe a user who goes by the name of ‘Lerg’ had some sample code that did this. It wad on a Corona geek episode a while back.

iirc he posted the code on github too, which iirc also shares the same user name.
