Thinking of doing an app but have a question so I don’t go in the wrong direction to start out with.
Lets say I have my device geo locate myself and then post that position to a server with my app. Now the question:
If another person has the app on their phone and are within a predetermined proximity and wanted to contact that person, would the app get the locations from the server or could the apps “talk with each other” with a text instead of having to use the server as the middle man to send the text.
Just trying to get a grasp for the approach to take.
