Or just give me the screen physical size, X and Y, in inches, even approximations will do.

Pretty please? The thread above contains all the pointers Corona staff developers need to make this work, both on Android and iOS, and it would make it SO much simpler to maintain the UI pieces that need to be certain physical size, due to human fingertips size limitations.
