Get Pixel Color / RGB Value

Hello,

I searched in the forums and support documentation and the only answer i found for this question was that it was not possible to do something like a color picker, where you get an rgb value from an onscreen coordinate. But that information was dated from 2011.

So I am asking again, is this possible on the latest version? Or has someone found a way to do it.
My game totally depends on this function.

Thanks in advance. [import]uid: 122920 topic_id: 29850 reply_id: 329850[/import]

This isn’t possible yet, no - hopefully soon. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 29850 reply_id: 119692[/import]

Thank you Peach.

It’s Objective-C for me then :frowning:

For all I have read in the last 2 hours, documentations, api’s, support etc this platform looks very very promissing. I wish that somehow we could add some Objective-C functions to the Lua code. Portability to other platforms would be lost but it would still make development so much easier. [import]uid: 122920 topic_id: 29850 reply_id: 119694[/import]

This actually is possible now, at least as far as I understand your needs.

I don’t know all the details, but check it out. Might be the “Corona plus Obj C” solution you’re looking for.

That’s true - Enterprise would make this possible. Good point, Brett  (Enterprise is a new offering.) [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 29850 reply_id: 119808[/import]
