Getting 2013.2076 to work

Is anyone else having trouble getting 2013.2076 to run? Both me and my tutor have tried running it on our separate computers, and all we get is “Windows has encountered a problem”, and then nothing.

I am running Win XP sp3, and my tutor is running Win 7 on a dual boot Mac.

I think I have posted this in the wrong place, but I would appreciate an answer nonetheless.

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, just seen the post 3 posts down…  http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/41370-build-2013-2076-not-responding/

It says on the download page for Corona that any modern graphics cards with Open GL 2.0 should work, but my tutor has Open GL 6.15 ?!? What EXACTLY do we need to do get Corona to work?

There’s no such thing as Open GL 6.xxx the most recent version of Open GL is 4.4 (desktop not ES)

I suspect that’s the driver version for whatever video card you have.

To verify the supported version of Open GL check this page: http://www.ononesoftware.com/support/607/

There’s a link to a utility called Open GL doctor that will determine what version is supported by your graphics card and driver.

My apologies, when my tutor checked his machine with a program I forget the name of, it specifically told him that ‘Open GL = 6.15’. The program he used must be mistaken.

Thank-you for your reply WideAwakeGames, I will try the program you linked this evening.
