I need a freaking text editor that works. I’ve tried lua edit, and text mate and you can’t save files as an LUA in that one. So I need a text editor that i can write my code, and then save it to launch in the corona simulator. I’m getting pretty upset that there isn’t a good one.

I use TextWrangler and suggest you take a look at that one. That said, TextMate most assuredly does save Lua files since lots of people use that, so you are probably just using it wrong. Nevermind. I’m using notepad++ and then putting it on a flash drive and moving it over. For some reason the windows version of the corona simulator would only show it up as a white screen and wouldn’t properly show it up as the images that I wanted it to. Pretty annoying and weird. TextWrangler is my choice right now. It’s free and the fold selection is still one of my fave functions in it. Keeps things tidy.
