Glider 1.9: Cannot run an app: Missing Main.lua error message?

Hello,

Still loving Glider! Today I uploaded Particule Candy example app (shows all the new effects) It worked great this morning. Not sure why but tonight it started to say “missing main.lua” and the simulator won’t start. I also noticed that Partcile candy app icon is now a blue folder. When it was working the icon looked like Glider icon. The crazy thing is that i can see the main.lua in the project. I cannot open it and edit the file. So something happened, maybe when I last closed Glider or the Particle Candy app. My other apps on the project list worked fine (run ok) and they each have their own icons.

What I bother me is that I re-downloaded the Particle Candy project and opened again with Glider and I still having the same issue.

Any ideas of suggestions? I will appreciate it very much. Even so the Particle Candy project was just me checking the newest effect, I am worry the same issue could happen to my current app! (it works ok so far)

Thank you.

Mo

EDIT: Some more details.

1- I can run the project if I start the simulator manually and run the main.lua
2- Using a Mac OS X 10.8.4

3- Use newest version of Glider 1.9 (did an update but the problem did not go away)

Hello Mo,

Thank you for the report and sorry about this strange problem. Does the problem persist after restarting Glider? It would be helpful if you could upload logs after this problem occurs via help-> upload logs. You also may want to move the build folder to somewhere else in case you have non-ascii characters in the build path. Please see this screenshot to see how to do this:

Hello,

So sorry for the delay! I fixed by choosing the correct folder (Particle Candy examples) The examples came in folder and I think I may have selected the wrong level (not sure I am making any sense:) Anyway once I selected the correct folder in the mega folder, I was able to run the example just fine.

Still loving it
