I’ll be attending the one hosted by IGDA Salt Lake. I’m planning to make a game using Corona. They encourage people to team up to make a game at the event, but I may go solo unless there’s other Corona developers there.
The GGJ is all for fun. I know that whatever game you make has to be released (source and binaries) under a creative commons license (see http://globalgamejam.org/wiki/basic-questions#ip). So it’s essentially public domain. Also I believe the engine you use has to be freely available (but I think the demo of Corona still fits this bill).
