Gold Mine! for iPhone, iPad, and Android

Hello Corona Community,

It’s 1849, and there’s gold in those hills!

I’m extremely proud to announce the world-wide release of my latest Corona game for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices: Gold Mine. As a poor miner, it’s your job to use your trusty grappling hook to retrieve gold and other treasure from the mine, but watch out for TNT barrels and ground hogs!

Gold Mine is now available on iTunes and the Google Android Market, and it will be available soon for Kindle Fire.

On iTunes:

On Android:

Gold Mine is similar to the classic MS-DOS game from years ago, but with some fun new twists and high-definition graphics. Unlike the original Gold Mine, you can visit the General Store during each level (instead of only at the end) to improve your miner’s chances of getting treasure. There are some new hazards in the mine to avoid, and new things to buy from the store, too.

If you like Gold Mine, please do give it a good review on either the Android or iTunes store!

thanks,

I love it. Just purchased it on the iPad, looks pretty slick! The sounds are well done too. I’ll leave a review. Great job! [import]uid: 86582 topic_id: 28943 reply_id: 116568[/import]

Thank you! I really appreciate the purchase and review because I’m having a hard time getting some publicity for the app. I may start paying to have some of these review sites give a polished review of it, but I don’t know if it will pay off. The best thing is always real user reviews and feedback, of course!

By the way, all levels are solvable, but some are challenging. You will definitely need to utilize the general store in many levels to solve them. [import]uid: 94684 topic_id: 28943 reply_id: 116570[/import]

Yes, I know what you mean. I don’t have a Corona app in the store yet, working on it, but I have one created using Phonegap. The app is aimed at pilots and there are a lot of free competitors. Getting reviews is a pain, especially when there are a few who don’t understand what the app is for and start posting BS reviews. Those who do know what it’s for love it though

But yes, it’s very hard to get those reviews. I hoped I helped you a little. Knowing that Gold Miner is very popular, I’m betting it won’t be long before the reviews start rolling in. [import]uid: 86582 topic_id: 28943 reply_id: 116572[/import]
