Google Cloud Messaging Registration Error: AUTHENTICATION_FAILED

Hi,

Has anyone encountered this error? I actually have push notifications set up and working for almost a year now, but today I discovered that I am getting this error when trying to register with gcm.

I have double checked my code just to be sure and it is set up exactly like the example.

I even tried another Google Api project ID that I have from a native android app that I know is working, but that would not work in my corona app either.

Has there been a change recently? Really need to fix this asap as my app is in the store

Could be that your Google Account password on your device is wrong (maybe you changed your Google password?).

Thats a possibility, but I also got a friend to test it on his phone and got the same result. Strangely though. not long after making the post, it started working again! Maybe the service was temporarily done…really don’t know what happened
