Can Corona be used to develop app and games for google glass?

Probably not. Corona is highly dependent on OpenGL. On Android you can’t have a transparent OpenGL canvas. It would be really hard to build a transparent app for Glass.

I always thought glass died( at least for now)

Depends on the industry ,glass is really useful in Healthcare Industry atleast for now.
