Google Maps with custom pin and pop-up

Hi all,

Is there a way to customize the maps view when I use the native.newMapView  api? I want to change the default pin with my own image and I want to show a custom pop-up when the user taps on a pin.

Or do I need to use a webview and HTML(5) to get this working?

After reading some more I found out that it should be rather easy to add a custom marker image to the pin. However, I haven’t found out if the pop-up can be customized. 

If I click on the marker, I want a pop-up that contains a title and a button (that opens a new scene). Is that feasible?
