Google Play Game Services Real-Time Multiplayer game example

@Michael W., Great! I’ll check my email.

Thanks,

Warren

Any updates? I really want this plugin :slight_smile:

I found this (https://bitbucket.org/coronalabs/store-hosted-gamekit)

How do I get it?

If you find it on Bitbucket but it’s not in the store, that usually means it’s not ready for release yet. Perhaps we are still testing it out. Perhaps we are waiting on some updates from the developer before we make it publicly. Perhaps we are workout documentation. The only real conclusion you can make is that it’s being worked on.

As of now, once a plugin is in the store, customer created plugins don’t get put into the Enterprise plugin.tar.gz file. For Enterprise subscribers to use customer created plugins they need to access Bitbucket. To SDK subscribers, seeing on Bitbucket doesn’t help you.

Ok thanks rob for clarification

Weird, I’m not getting email notifications for this thread.

@scottrules44, Michael from Corona said in his last update to me that he is still in the process of testing the code and there is an error preventing builds from the simulator that he is trying to narrow down.

I’ll post in the Corona iOS forum as soon as the GameKit plugin gets released.

Warren

Ok sweet :slight_smile:

Any updates? It been a few weeks?

Edit: Referring to Gamekit(Game center) plugin

@scottrules44,

No, I haven’t gotten any updates since April 25th and I’m still waiting for a response to the email inquiry I sent @Michael W. on May 10th.

Warren

Ok, thanks for the update. I saw the documentation. Just making in early feature request, in future versions can you add Mac OS and Apple TV support for this plugin?

It’s most likely possible with some effort but I want to get this iOS GameKit plugin published and see how it goes first.

Is this plugin available? It looks like it was updated yesterday.

It’s not available yet. I think that was just Michael W. updating the repository which means it moving forward.

I saw another push, sorry to keep asking but any updates.

No worries, that push you saw was me adding the simulator stubs for the non iOS platforms. There is still a bug on the Corona server side that Michael W. is trying to work out.
