Hey,
First things first, if this is the wrong section to ask for help, please move this topic/thread.
I have published an application to Google Play store, not long ago. I haven’t experienced any kinds of issues before, until a month ago. This “We have identified a potential advertising ID policy violation with your app(s).” error showed up. I researched the internet a bit, and figured it requires an update, and so I did. It worked for a week, then it showed up again, however this time, it kept showing up a few hours later. Due to this error showing up every 24 hours, I always update my application and re-publish. Is there a specific reason it keeps showing up?
To be more specific; “We have determined that your app uses a library or SDK (v2.com.playhaven.configuration) that is in violation of the Developer Program Policy. Please note that beginning Aug 1st, 2014 the Developer Program Policy requires all updates and new apps uploaded to be compliant with the advertising ID provision of the Developer Program Policy. Apps in violation may be subject to permanent removal from the Store. Learn more.”
That’s what it claims I violate.
How I update my application you may ask? I just re-build. When it first showed up (the error), the console printed that playhaven was updated, so I figured that was the issue. However, later on, it didn’t update playhaven anymore or anything at all, so I was just re-building all the time.
I’m currently using build 2014.2511.
I really need help, because I’m so frustrated, and I just can’t re-publish all the time.
