GPS API Crashes ... Help!

Hello all. New user, new post. I’ve searched but I cannot find anything regarding this issue.

I’m having a problem addressing the GPS on my phone (Nexus S, Android 2.3.4., T-Mobile).

I can compile and run basic sample on the phone (e.g. PolyLines), but when I try to run anything that uses the GPS, it errors out. If I run the GPS sample, it says “The application GPS has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.”

The GPS is enabled and can be accessed from other applications. (Google Earth, GPS Status)

Do I need to somehow allow for other accessibility options when creating the program? For example, when you install an application, it tells you what features the application will be addressing on your phone (contacts, GPS, network, etc). The GPS sample only says it addresses the network. Could this be the issue?

Thanks for any help. [import]uid: 30399 topic_id: 10390 reply_id: 310390[/import]
