I am trying to access the mapView within the simulator.
Obviously, I have to build the app inside of the iOS xCode simulator.
I do not have any sort of developer licence, so I cannot put the app onto a device.
Once built however, I only get an outline of the map box.
The map itself is blank (a solid color) and the other displayObjects (in this app they are strings) are not visible.
I may have a very simple problem, but please direct me toward the appropriate resources*
*I am no computer scientist, just an amateur coder!
