Hi at all, My name is roberto and I’m new developer. I have a big doubt. In the past days I asked in another topic how to build a graphic interface of the app. I know that with Xcode the graphic interface (buttons, labels etc) are positioned with a visual approach. I understood that with corona I have at disposal only the code. The solution is to use other resources - 3rd Party Tools, for example Kwik. Is it the best solution? Are there other solution? Other Tools? Please help me to understand how to build a interactive graphic interface. I have experience with graphic tool (photoshop, fireworks etc) but I don’t now how to share the element of graphic interface with the code for the correct positioning - in simple manner - in visual manner - any suggestions? thanks in advance. Roberto, if you are not willing to use Kwik (does much more than what you need), you can use one of my Export to Corona scripts (available for Photoshop and Fireworks). Just go to my personal website: www.asouza.com/blog and search for Fireworks or Photoshop and you will see them. They are not perfect but, they will provide you a good start.

So, do you think that Kwit is the best choice to build a game interface? Not only comics and interactive books. I’m thinking, in particular about background image, the other elements (buttons, labels etc) and their positioning. Thanks

In fact Kwik may be able to CODE the entire game for you. Several people are using it to create storybooks (mostly), magazines and games. Check Kwiksher Showcase (www.kwiksher.com) and you will see several games made with the tool. Think Kwik as your private developer (it writes Corona code for you based on the actions your define in your Photoshop compositions).
If all you want is a tool to read the layer content positioning and size, the free Photoshop/Fireworks Exporter I mentioned will be a good entry point for you. However, you get much more (at a cost) if you use Photoshop and decide to not write code, or speed up your coding process. [import]uid: 4883 topic_id: 33381 reply_id: 132597[/import]
Ok. The approach is clear. Thanks a lot. [import]uid: 175936 topic_id: 33381 reply_id: 132600[/import]
