Does the Apple TV remote have a gyroscope? I saw in the documentation and some stack overflow posts that the data is there, but Corona is not able to return those events.
I’ve been trawling the Apple Developer forums for information about the Apple TV Remote gyroscope and it would appear to have one but Apple have not made the data available, hence it’s lacking in the Corona events.
Does anyone at CoronaLabs have any more info on this? All the posts I found appear to be from 2015 with not much since then.

No it’s not available at this time. Can you point me to the most recent/accurate bits on this from Apple so I can confirm with engineering?

I cannot find anything more recent which provides better or refuting information on the current state of access to the Apple TV remote’s gyroscope data.
Apple remotes automatically combine gyroscope and accelerometer data to provide more accurate readings. I would highly recommend to watch https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/techtalks-apple-tv/4/ .
