Hanging when opening a project (Stuck at 10% percent)

MY Devs, great product but I am having an issue opening existing projects.

I’m running version 1.7.2 and whenever I attempt to open a project the application gets stuck at 10% on the progress of opening the project. If I leave it for a few minutes it will eventually open the project.

When I use the file menu > Open recent project, there is no issue of hanging on open.

Not sure what’s going on here…

I took a look at the logs and this may shed some light on the issue:
WARNING [org.netbeans.core.TimableEventQueue]: too much time in AWT thread org.netbeans.modules.sampler.InternalSampler@6410ea1b
WARNING [org.netbeans.core.TimableEventQueue]: too much time in AWT thread null

Nevermind… the issue somehow resolved itself after a few reboots and it is back to working correctly. [import]uid: 43549 topic_id: 36806 reply_id: 145441[/import]

Hello Willupc,

 

Thanks for sending the logs. One of the main reasons we are still working on 1.8 is to fully resolve this performance issue. We are trying to be as thorough as possible in fixing this problem.
