My first app (and first review too!)

The little app began as an offhand comment from my wife. We saw a bell choir a couple weeks ago “There should be an app for that!”, she said. My son did the User Experience “You should just shake it and the song comes out.”

Three days of art and sound, 5 hours of simple “coding”, and 9 days of waiting on Apple for approval.
It’s a hell of a lot of fun to be able to act on an impulse like that! I submitted it on Thanksgiving Day.

I’ll likely post the source here soon with a few more production details.

I wrote a crazy BBedit text factory to automate the conversion of standard midi (the songs) into lua tables of text. My code is sometimes embarrassingly basic but there are a few “methods to my madness” that might benefit others working on similar stuff.

The most time consuming part was asset management!
My next project will be done with your excellent Corona Project Manager for sure!
