Has Anyone Ran Corona SDK on a VM?

I am using a VM as I don’t have a 32bit machine available. When I run the simulator it gives me the following message:

This machine does not meet Coronas Simulators Minimum Requirements.

Minimum OpenGL version required: 1.3

You machines OpenGL version: 1.1.0

When I click ignore it shows the selected mobile device but its blank.

My question is has any successfully got the simulator running on a VM

OR

Is there a 64bit version of the simulator?

Thanks in advanced

I run Corona on a Win7 x64 machine without issues ?

I also happen to run a VM, with OS X Mountain Lion - note you’ll need Mountain Lion as previous versions didn’t work with the display driver.

Is there a 64bit setup you know of?

I’ve had it running on a couple of Win 7 64 bit machines no problems?

We don’t support running CoronaSDK in VMs because they generally have old openGL drivers. If you update the openGL driver it may work. We have run CoronaSDK under a VM in Mountain Lion.

I install Corona happily on Win7 x64 and it runs straight away ?

Cheers for every ones input.

I ran the Corona SDK in the Virtualbox and it is working fine. All you need to enable the 3d/2d acceleration on the virtualbox setting. Some of the virtual pc does not come with 3d/2d acceleration (such as xp mode, virtual pc by Microsoft), for those, you won’t be able to run it as there is no support for open gl.
