I tested a small app using the corona webview a while back just for kicks, and it worked on IOS and android.
I tested this earlier in the year, so it’s been a while.
I know you want to also include your own flavor of Physics. But they have a HUGE backing and they now have support from
- Mozilla sponsors CreateJS
- WebGL beta added to EaselJS

You may want to check the out before you go to far down the road in the HTML 5 version.

I don’t think that’ll work with corona since CreateJS is “native” JS development.
I used the CoronaSDK webview and compiled a sample app and it worked fine.
I’ll find it and post it on the web ( the full coronaSDK with createJS included ).

Did you ever post your example Larry?
No i never did, I got all caught up in other stuff.
I’ll try to find the old example this weekend and slap it up on the web.
I’ll post back here when i do.

I was not able to find the CreateJS example that I had from a previous meetup.
But tonight I did find a couple cool ones of CreateJS.
I’ll work on slapping it into a Webview and work out the kinks like I did before and let you know what I find out.
Last time I think there was an issue that I had to work around with loading local images. Other than that I think everything worked like a champ.
I’ll keep you posted.
