Hi everyone,
I’ve been on these forums and using the corona sdk for a little while now though I’ve never actually introduced myself. But it’s time to stop just stealing all the advice and to say hello! I’m breaking into the programming world with experiences in a couple of languages. Lua by far is the most enjoyable I’ve come across. Originally I’m a writer as a hobby and a musician. I was introduced to programming through my university course in Computer Science and love it. In terms of what I want to do and where I want to go:
- I’ve just ordered my new keyboard to start creating game music, which is a huge passion of mine and any gamer really (moved house and couldn’t take the electric piano - especially as it wasn’t mine)
- As I writer I’m really interested in creating ebooks with corona - could also do with some help if anyone’s a specialist!!! I’ve just finished writing up my first, half way through my second and my third is already being researched and laid out, so exciting times ahead.
- As a lover of all things mystery (inc. Sherlock Holmes) I’m really wanting to head into the mystery games route (riddle games/escape the room etc)
So there’s a little bit about me and what I’m up too, would love to chat with any like-minded folks! Would also like to say I’m loving corona, lua and it’s helpful forums. Great discovery!
