Help needed with cross platform multiplayer game

Hi,

I am Sam Sandeep from India, a student pursuing my Bachelor’s in Video Game Development. My friend and I are planning to develop a simple turn based cross platform game on iOS and Android as our final project. We went through your profile on your website and thought we could ask you for some help regarding our game.

We are really confused as to what SDK or engine we need to use to develop our game. Is it possible if we use corona? We want it to be a simple game where the players can play against each other on any of the above mentioned platforms, that is a player on iOS should be able to connect to the player on Android and vice versa. We have a simple concept for a turn based multiplayer game with very simple 2D graphics. Could you please guide us as to how we need to proceed?

Hi Sam,

You would want to take a look at PubNub - there is some sample code for Corona on the PubNub website as well as in the CoronaSDK sample code already on your computer. (Applications > CoronaSDK > SampleCode)
