Help please! No option to "Open for Build"

Hello,

I’ve purchased the professional license of Corona. I’m also registered in the Apple developer program. I’ve got the latest of everything installed: the latest version of the Mac OS, the latest XCode, etc. I can build SDK apps and run them on my phone just fine.

I have followed the instructions on the “Building for Devices” doc. Ad Hoc profile - check, Distribution profile - check.

But no matter what I do, there is no option on the Corona “welcome” screen or in the menu to build for the device.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks so much,

Still doesn’t show up in the welcome screen, but suddenly I can select iOS in the Build menu…

I am able to build now…for others running into this problem:

  1. On my machine, there still is no option for building for the device in the welcome window…you have to go File->Build->iOS. I don’t know if it was removed or something else is still a bit screwy…

  2. If that’s not an option, make sure you have an ad hoc provisioning profile in your “\Users<user name>\Library\MobileDevice\Provisioning Profiles” folder. You can create these on the Apple developer portal.
