Help! Production Android Build keep failing

We have a release due to go out today.  We can build in development, but when we try and build for production (same code) for Android using Corona 3135 it just keeps saying: -

Android build failed (1) after 62 seconds

This is all I am seeing in the simulator window: -

Our Android builds fail also. I don’t know if it the latest public release, but it’s a hard to test. The builds with Mac for iOS work fine. This is the only log events I got:

There were problems yesterday with Amazon S3 that was causing sporadic building problems but it seems that Amazon has that sorted out.

Here are a few things to try:

  1. Try building the hello world sample app that we include in the SampleCode folder.

  2. Increase your logging information.  See this post for instructions on how to use regedit to up the logging level:

https://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/63338-trying-to-build-for-android-on-a-pc-and-getting-build-error-12/

Rob

Hi guys,

Can you tell if the amazon s3 problems really been solved?

i am keep getting:

ERROR: failed to download build: https://ansca-build-temp.s3.amazonaws.com/59bd888164bee-built.zip?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAIMSD7JG23DSGPRIA&Expires=1505593522&Signature=gBvEkXuKk8dEJgrkkQ9pwMdu%2B%2BQ%3D

The request timed out.

this error happens also when i building the hello world sample app.

What happens if you try your own release keystore?

Can you confirm your build version?  Copy/paste the info from your console log would be helpful.

Rob

Can you do the same thing, except add this key as well: debugBuildProcess and set it to a 2 also.

Then provide the complete log from the time the simulator loads until it completes.

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob,

I did what you asked and sent the log to you (personal message).

EDIT: I’ll send it by email.

How did you PM me? My forum PM’s are turned off.  If you don’t want to post it here, please email it to support@coronalabs.com.

Thanks

Rob

We would like you to use Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Corona and then re-install it.

Rob

I removed the Corona (Add/Remove Programs), restarted the computer and installed again. The simulator seems to work fine. I can play the game, but when I try to build, the Corona simply crashes! I sent the log. Tried with Hello World and with our own app.

I installed Corona version 2017.3117 and it won’t crash when building and the building won’t fail. It’s working ok!
