Help updating my new app on Amazon? Anyone here with experiece updating Apps on Amazon?

I updated my app after it was released because I got a “com.android.vending.CHECK_LICENSE.”   Error.  I found out from another post that I needed to remove the “android.vending.CHECK_LICENSE” from my build file.  I updated the binary. I hope this will indeed fix the error when I buy the app and try to play the game.

I figured out how to update my game to a future version so I assume that will replace the current live file on Amazon’s site.  But right now it says:      Current Version (Live)  |  Upcoming Version (Approved)

How do I replace the Current Version with the approved update version?

If anyone knows where I can get some instructions to update applications on Amazon Developer Console I would appreciate a heads up.

I find it hard to believe someone on this forum has never updated their app on Amazon.  This is my first, please bear with me.

Thanks, Jan

This is all Amazon says: “To update an app, in the portal, on the My Apps tab, click the name of the app to open the general information page for the current version of the app. Click Upcoming Version , and you will be guided through the update process.”  No other info on when the live version is replaced??

I was able to update the application to a newer version - but I still get errors after I download the file from Amazon.  I passed the pre-check by the way!    To remove your application from Amazon you have to request them to do it - there is no way from the developers console.

The new “approved” version usually replaces the old “live” version after a few hours (it took about 6 hours for ours to go through yesterday).
