Hey I recently made a sprite image. What the problem is when I scale to fit for my iphone the sprite ends up looking horrible. How do I make it so that the sprite image is not pixelated but still maintains that same quality when I scale down? [import]uid: 17058 topic_id: 31910 reply_id: 331910[/import]
Hi,
first thing, what is the size of the sprite image? pixels and Kbs.
In what did you create it? did you scale it down or change the image size? they are 2 different things and can have a big impact on the resulting image.
I would do all the scaling in fireworks, flash, photoshop etc and not let the device do this.
If the device is scaling down it does create a larger overhead and should be avoided.
can we see an example?

Actually the problem I had is I had 12 image in one to make a sprite image. So what I did is separate them into four different sprite each containing three 3 movements in which the picture wont look pixelated any more because there is not a lot images in one image.
