When I purchase corona (full version) will there be an option to build for Xcode? And actually change my project in to a Xcode project? If not, how would I build for the app store?

Yes there will be an option to build for build to Xcode. When you do Xcode it just only displays your app on the Xcode Simulator. To build the app you have to have a provision profile, and distribution profile (whatever you call it) to build. Hey, just to clarify a little further on what sebitttas told you;
When you build you will get a complete app, ready to upload to Apple - you can also build to simulate in the Xcode simulator - however you do not get (or need) an Xcode project file.
