help with NOOK builds.

Hey All,

I just went through the process of getting my color NOOK hooked up. I have my B&N Dev account, my provisioning profile is installed to the device, and I can install .apk files to it.

The only problem is that none of the apps I try on the device actually work. They work fine in the simulator across all platforms, and my latest build also works on an older 7" android table, iphone, and ipad 1&2.

I was using build 704a, and decided to try a newer build, where I received this error message:

[Error: (Nook) builds were not available. Version(1354924800)]
Version: 2.0.0
Build: 2012.773

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks! [import]uid: 135765 topic_id: 23799 reply_id: 323799[/import]

Well, I was able to load my app on my NOOK! After 2 apps failed to load, with the same black screen, I tried Ghosts Vs. Monsters on my Nook, which worked! I left the reference to the CIDER debugger in my code, which would build within CIDER, but would not work directly in the simulator.

Hooray!

So after I got booted up, I noticed that the director class screen transitions were performing poorly, and the background mp3 stuttered badly…

My NOOK Shipped with software 1.2.0, so I am going to apply the 1.4.2 update, and see if that helps at all.

If not, perhaps I’ll re-code the mp3’s to a lower bitrate. [import]uid: 135765 topic_id: 23799 reply_id: 95857[/import]
