Getting Started Tell Us About Yourself

How’s everyone doing? My name is JD and i’m a Math teacher. I have very little coding/programming experience (i’ve worked with scratch with my students some and took an intro class in college) 

Anyways I’ve recently thought of something (that I think) could be a pretty good app idea. Not going to go into detail since its fairly unique and i want to keep it that way. But its going to be a pretty ambitious task for me. Anyways it sounds like this is a REALLY great community and I’m excited to get to know you guys over the next (probably really long) timeframe :smiley:

going to start small with slowly designing and working through the tutorials. look forward to talking to all of you guys :smiley:

Hello JD, it sound intresting. I only made one single app that you can find in google playstore but i am willing to find a group of people to share a project with. Maybe if i find your idea as intresting we could try to find a group togheter!

That’s great, I started developing with Corona SDK in my summer holidays and I’ve already published my first app. It’s a binary app, but I am sure that using similar ideas all sorts of maths apps could be made. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.james.abela.Binary_DMZ

Without giving any details, is your idea about something for your students?

If it isn’t that is cool too, but if it is, that is extra awesome.  I enjoy the idea of folks doing work that gets used by and for students.

In the meanwhile, looking forward to your questions, progress reports if you want to share them, and eventually the big reveal.
